I am from Caracas Venezuela. I came to New York two years ago to visit my oldest son and while here I decided to stay because I fell in love with the city and due to the current political climate in Venezuela.
I have been working as a teacher for 32 years. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood education and I have taught children from two years of age to six years. I am also bilingual in Spanish and English. For me, teaching is only one of my passions.
I was a swimmer for the Venezuelan National master swim team and also a cross-country cyclist in addition to playing tennis. When teaching the children a different language, I always felt singing to be the best tool. I get great joy from watching the students’ facial expressions when they begin to recognize different words. It is my pleasure to be part of the team at Bilingual Nest. I look forward to getting to know each of your children at an individual level.
